Steamed Asian Dumplings
Ingredients
Dough:
4 cups all purpose flour
1 3/4 cups boiling water
1/2 tsp salt
Filling:
1 pound of ground pork
2 Tbsp + 1 tsp fresh ginger
1 Tbsp + 1 tsp sesame oil
2 Tbsp soy sauce
2 Tbsp dried apricots
a small handful of green onions
1 large carrot, grated
2-3 cups napa cabbage
1/2 – 1 tsp salt
optional – black pepper to taste
Dipping Sauce:
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup rice wine vinegar
1 tsp sesame oil
1 Tbsp brown sugar
1/3 cup chopped green onions or chives
